Summary: The Office of Development and Alumni Affairs is seeking an office assistant.  This person will be responsible for engaging alumni and future alumni through programming and social media.


  • Assist with social media campaigns including writing alumni stories and taking photos.
  • Assist in the coordination of alumni events and activities.
  • Manage media letters from Director to alumni featured in publications.
  • Manage Future Alumni Network on campus and programming to educate juniors/seniors/graduate students about the alumni affairs office.
  • Administration tasks including scheduling meetings and data entry.
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, skills, abilities and personal characteristics

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Administrative interest and skills in managing projects
  • Ability to work independently, to work collaboratively in a team environment, and to multi-task
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
