Lynn is currently accepting applications for the position of Content Production Specialist. The Content Production Specialist reports to the Director of Marketing and Communication. S/he provides comprehensive support for day-to-day marketing activities across all audiences. Regularly exercises independent judgment, creativity, accuracy and accountability to get the job done.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establish integrated marketing campaigns that meet our customers' needs and support the university's strategic priorities
  • Understand internal and external audience personas so that all content aligns with needs, concerns, attitudes
  • Write and publish compelling, social and digital content that inspires, educates, informs or engages audiences   (storytelling)
  • Work closely with creative, editorial and operations teams to ensure content receives maximum exposure across all earned, paid and owned channels (advertising, SEO, social, print publications etc.)
  • Oversee editorial calendar and content partnership with iPulse (student-run newspaper)
  • Write copy for newsletters and regular internal communications updates
  • Manage monthly marketing department meetings and cross-departmental collaboration meetings
  • Measure, analyze and report key performance metrics for strategic activities as needed
  • Establish processes and/or protocols to support marketing team objectives as needed
  • Uphold university editorial guidelines; edit for AP Style, active voice, consistency and style
  • Accepting deliveries, if required for campaigns

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A) from four-year college or university
  • 5+ years marketing experience, agency or higher education preferred
  • Proven experience in digital content marketing, writing or journalism (samples will be requested)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Communicate effectively across all levels (peers, senior management teams, agency partners)
  • Self-starter, relationship-builder
  • Work independently and in group settings
  • Flexible, adaptable, able to deliver results under tight deadlines
  • Highly organized, strong analytical skills
  • Experience managing various individual contributors a plus
  • Experience with project management software, Hootsuite, Google analytics, SEO tools, a plus
  • Experience producing videography/photography a plus
