Lynn is currently accepting applications for the two open positions of Shuttle Driver. The purpose of this position is to provide safe transportation services to students between the Wyndham Boca Raton Hotel and the campus. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all passengers and callers
  • Drive the university shuttle van between locations
  • Answer the shuttle phone and make necessary arrangements to pick up students within the designated schedule
  • Accurately and efficiently track shuttle van usage.
  • Appropriately care for university shuttle van and its passengers
  • Administer all other duties as assigned by supervisor

The Shuttle Driver is a professional staff member at the University. As such, this individual will maintain a high level of professionalism including, but not limited to behavior, attire, and representation of self and the University at all times. Additionally:

  • Follow-through with all responsibilities and communications in a timely manner;
  • Keep accurate records
  • Complete the appropriate assessment of programs and functions;
  • Develop appropriate, professional relationships with students and colleagues (internal and external);
  • Maintain appropriate boundaries with students.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must be 21 or older to drive vans
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to maintain professional conduct and ethical behavior at all times
  • Ability to effectively resolve conflict and manage crisis and emergency situations as well as an ability to foster a cooperative environment
  • Must be able to work some nights and weekends
